Realla can also be used to market off-market buildings securely and confidentially.
The following features and best practices may prove useful when marketing off-market buildings using Realla.
1. Creating contact groups
Realla allows you to create contact groups within your contacts book. This is important for the following reasons:
- By creating a contacts group, for example "Top 100 office investors", you can do a targeted email campaign to only contacts in that contact group.
- A contacts group also allows you to ensure tight control over who can see and access the marketing collateral of your off-market building i.e. only allow investors within my contact group to access the microsite.
To learn how to create a group of contacts, please click here. If you have a large list of contacts to upload, please contact a member of the customer support team so we can upload this to your contacts book for you - click here.
2. Controlling microsite access
After creating your off-market disposal in Realla, configure your microsite permissions. It is here, where you can control who has access to the microsite of your off-market disposal.
All microsites by default are set to public. However if you wanted to, for example, limit access to the microsite to a pre-defined group of investors you can do so in Realla. Anyone out of this group, who manages to access the microsite will not be able to view the contents of the microsite and will have to request access in order to view the microsite.
In order to ensure end to end control over who has access to your microsite, you will need to invite your contacts to join Realla. Investors, landlords and tenants can sign up for a free account.

3. Restricting portal access
If you market your buildings on third party portals, you can restrict this for off-market buildings.
If you do not want your off-market building to be discoverable on the Realla portal, the disposals publishing settings need to be set to private. To do this, see below:
- Within the disposal, navigate to the details tab.
- Under the key details section, is a field called publishing settings.
- To hide your listing on the Realla portal, click on private.
Rightmove, Zoopla & EGPL
If you normally feed to portals such as Rightmove, Zoopla or EGPL you can restrict off market buildings from being listed on these portals. To learn how to do this, click here.
Your own agency website
If you have integrated Realla with your agency website, by default all listings when put live, will be pushed to your website. We currently do not have the option to not push a property to your own website.
4. Data Room: Password protected documents
If you have sensitive documents you want investors to have access to, you can use the data room feature in Realla.
All documents are stored and password protected by Box.com. Investors will have to create a free Realla account before they can view any documents you have uploaded.
